Marco Aguirre (PULSE UNF) is an established street artist and painter based in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Marco Aguirre, better known as PULSE UNF, was born on June 26, 1984, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. At the age of ten, he stumbled upon graffiti by chance, which became the root, influence, and foundation of his current work.
At 17, he made the decision to become a painter. By 19 or 20, he ceased doing graffiti on the streets, although he continued to practice it in sketchbooks. He studied Fine Arts at the University of Guadalajara, exploring and familiarizing himself with new tools and concepts in art during his academic formation.
In 2011, a trip to Santiago, Chile, rekindled his connection with his roots: graffiti, leading him to create large-scale murals while alternating with studio work.
His work stems from a playful approach, delving into exploration utilizing abstraction, expressionism, and the figurative as tools.
His artwork has been showcased in Mexico and abroad, in cities such as San Antonio, Texas, and Sardinia, Italy.
