Daniel Fontanini

Daniel Fontanini (b. Guadalajara, Mexico) has dedicated over 15 years to the world of professional painting and is a painiter at the forefront of the vibrant art scene in Guadalajara.

Daniel's talent has been recognized nationally, with selections in prestigious biennials including the Miniature Art Biennial at the Bicentennial Museum in San Pedro Garza (2017, 2019, 2021 editions), Young Art (2018), and the Atanacio Monrroy Biennial (2018). His dedication to his craft has earned him numerous scholarships and residencies, such as the CECA 2017, supported by the Jalisco Secretary of Culture with mentorship from Dan Montellano, and multiple artistic residencies through Estudio Libertad's Incubator programs (2019, 2023) and Mano Grafica in Patscuaro, Michoacan, under Artemio Gonzalez's direction.

In 2023, Daniel participated in the Artist Incubator in Monterrey, presenting a collection of over 20 medium to large format pieces. His work garnered critical acclaim and nearly sold out of the collection and the show.
