My mission as an artist is to depict and preserve the dreamlike and the esoteric: that which we do not perceive with our eyes, but experience through our minds
Ksenia La Hun, born 1994 in Saransk, Russia, lives and works in Mexico City.
“My images emerge from my unconscious, dreams, and visions, seeking an instinctive dialogue with the viewer. Often, phrases and conversations overheard on the street become integrated into my art. I enjoy allowing materials to guide me through the creative process, with almost no preliminary sketches—everything is improvisation. My mission as an artist is to depict and preserve the dreamlike and the esoteric: that which we do not perceive with our eyes, but experience through our minds. It is essential to remember that the invisible is also part of our reality.”
